Anubias var. 'Mini Coin'

The Anubias barteri var. nana 'Mini Coin' is a rare and very small Anubias variant that is ideal for nano aquariums, detailed layouts and for targeted use as an eye-catcher to achieve more depth.

The 'Mini Coin' is a really tiny selection of Anubias barteri var. nana and is only very rarely available.

This aquarium plant has almost round leaves that are about 1cm in diameter at most; under water the leaves usually remain even smaller.

Like most variants of the dwarf spear leaf, Anubias 'Mini Coin' also grows rather slowly and has few demands. The plant has a low light requirement, but can also grow in a lot of light if it is well supplied with nutrients. It spreads out rather widely and branches out and is also a great and easy-to-care-for plant in bottle gardens and Wabi-Kusa.

Like all Anubias, this one must not be planted completely in the soil, the rhizome must be free or the Anubias 'Mini Coin' can be tied to stones or root wood, so it is a typical epiphyte.
