Filter Foam Mat 2cm

High-quality open-pored filter foam mat in size 50 x 50 x 2 cm.  You can choose from fine or medium structure, fine is especially produced for us in a PPI40 quality,  medium is about PPI35.

For the construction of "Hamburger Mat filter" (HMF) or universally suitable for every internal and external filter.

Filter mats are typically available in thicknesses of 3–5 cm. Here, we offer a 2 cm thick foam; this is ideal for smaller aquariums or for creating partitions or custom filters.
Our 2 cm filter foam is well-suited for situations where space is limited or where you need to bend the foam around tight curves.

• withstands temperatures above 75°C
• best quality from German production, no cheap import
• this foam contains no plasticizers and is CFC-free produced
• high resistance to aging (in many breeding facilities already 10 years in use)
• absolutely water-neutral, no substances are released into the water
• finally a filter material in a 'neutral' color if you choose the black one
