FERKA Balance N

Balance N is an excellent nitrogen fertilizer for aquarium plants, consisting of high-quality nitrogen sources and stimulants that facilitate the absorption of nutrients by the plant leaves.

What sets it apart from other fertilizers of this type is its high quality and efficiency.

Nitrogen is one of the best-known and most important elements for fertilizing aquariums. If the dosage is incorrect, algae can form, which is why most beginner aquarists try to avoid this by limiting the dosage. They believe that the metabolism of fish is quite sufficient to provide plants with the appropriate amount of it.
The more we see through our own experiences, the more we understand that nitrogen is essential in planted aquariums and, unfortunately, is very often only available in limited quantities.
Nitrogen ensures excellent condition of the plants and a nitrogen source with high quality and efficiency is necessary.

There is a greater risk of algae formation if there is too little or significantly too much nitrogen, and it is precisely this imbalance that can often be seen in aquariums.
The nitrogen in Balance N is carefully selected so that it is absorbed by plants immediately after administration, reducing the risk of algae attack. A long-lasting excess of nitrogen is therefore avoided.
To eliminate nitrogen deficiency and ensure optimal plant growth and the best possible plant condition, Balance N should be used together with Ferka Aquatilizer and Balance K. Alternatively, appropriate fertilizers can of course also be used.

Please note: It is not recommended to use Balance N in completely newly installed aquariums as the lack of nitrifying bacteria can lead to algae problems. In such a case, only dose with around 15% of the recommended amount or only start adding Balance N after 4-5 weeks, as soon as the aquarium has "run in" a little.

Dosage:
Start with 3ml per 100 liters of water and increase weekly until you reach 10ml per 100 liters of water.
Another sensible dosage option is 1 ml per 100 liters of water per day, always depending on the amount of plants.
A screw-on pump is of course included (for the 250ml and 500ml bottles).

All FERKA fertilizer products can also be used safely in shrimp aquariums.
