VIMI Accelerator stimulates the growth of aquarium plants and fights unwanted algae.
In conjunction with VIMI plant fertilizers, you can achieve faster growth even without a CO2 supply.

VIMI Accelerator provides a carbon source in aquariums without additional CO2 supply through chemical-biological reduction that allows plants to grow much faster, because CO2 is essential for every plant.
The ingredient also has an effect on various types of algae and destroys the structure of thread and red algae in particular very reliably.

The fertilizer is harmless to fish and invertebrates (the recommended dosages should not be exceeded).
The fertilizer does not accumulate in the aquarium water and is easily biodegradable.

Some plants (Egeria sp., Elodea sp., some Vallisneria sp. and maybe others) may show intolerance to this product if the dosage is increased significantly.
The daily dosage recommendation should not be exceeded. It is necessary to add the product to the aquarium over a longer period of time, if possible every day before the lighting starts, in order to be able to work against the algae.

Information about the ingredient glutaraldehyde:
Product and user safety are the highest priority for all VIMI products. When dosed and used correctly, VIMI Accelerator is harmless to fish, shrimp, snails, plants, filter bacteria, etc., even when used continuously.
The active ingredient glutaraldehyde is classified as a hazardous substance in concentrated form. For example, with a dosage of 2.5 ml per 100 liters of aquarium water, the active ingredient is diluted by a factor of 40,000. This concentration is sufficient to significantly promote plant growth or reduce algae. However, the harmful effect is then so low that the aquarium inhabitants are not negatively affected. In the concentration used, the glutaraldehyde is then easily biodegradable. What may not be metabolized by the plants as a result of the reduction is "eaten" by the filter bacteria; all that remains is CO2 (here again for the plants) and water. Accidentally too high/double dosage does not lead to negative effects in the aquarium - in principle you should follow the recommended and tried and tested dosage and not overdose.
