Chikutan Pot

The Chikutan Pot, with its large opening, is ideal for planting Java fern, Anubias and of course moss.

The bamboo tubes are carbonized under high pressure and heat, are free of harmful substances and cannot mold in the aquarium. They contain a lot of the natural minerals calcium, potassium and sodium and thus improve the water quality. 1g of this bamboo charcoal covers up to 30m² and therefore offers optimal conditions for the settlement of useful microorganisms, so the Chikutan Pot supports a filter. The large porous surface means that the plants used take root quickly.

Japanese breeders therefore use the tubes for natural water treatment and as a shelter for shrimp (when molting). You will receive a piece of this natural product, which may differ in shape and color from the picture.
