Ammannia sp. "Yme" is similar to Ammannia gracilis, but has not yet been identified as a species, and its original origin is unknown.
While Ammannia gracilis develops a magnificent brown-red color under good conditions, Ammannia sp. "Yme" develops an even more intense red under similar conditions, making it a very colorful plant for the midground or for the popular plant rows in larger aquariums.

Like all Cognac plants (Ammania), we recommend strong lighting and a balanced supply of macro- and micronutrients, which are readily absorbed by the roots through the substrate. CO2 supplementation is recommended.
