Zeolite

Zeolite is a solid natural stone in granulate form. It has an adsorptive effect and is becoming more and more important in aquaristics as a bio-catalyst, filter, ion exchanger and water clarifier. The zeolite filter material we offer is of the best quality with EU origin.

The more of the smallest cavities there are in the stone crystal, the greater the absorption capacity and the greater the space for bacteria to settle. Due to these properties, zeolite not only creates crystal clear aquarium water, but also prevents algae growth by absorbing ammonium and phosphate. Zeolite is particularly suitable for seawater aquaristics.

The zeolite granulate is easy and flexible to use and is supplied in a mesh bag in carton box.

Content 1000ml zeolite, sufficient for approx. 500 l fresh water or 300 l sea water, grain size 3-6 mm
