Vallisneria americana 'Mini Twister' is, as the name suggests, a small plant. Its short, twisted leaves make it visually appealing and ideal for the foreground and midground of an aquarium. The tightly twisted leaves also create beautiful light and shadow effects as the light plays through the green leaf spirals.

This plant is easy to care for, requires no CO2 fertilization, and is suitable for both soft and hard water.

We recommend planting a group of larger Vallisneria varieties (e.g., Vallisneria asiatica) behind a group of smaller Vallisneria. This will create the natural look of a true Vallisneria forest.
