Spirulina Powder

100% pure spirulina powder, microalgae from Hawaii

• important supplementary food for herbivorous fish, discus, fry and of course shrimp
• strengthens the immune system and promotes colors (due to the high carotene content)
• the spirulina powder can be mixed in puree and thawed frozen food, but it can also be administered neat
• for catfish and shrimp you moisten a flat stone and sprinkle the powder on it, when the powder is dry you put the stone in the aquarium (the spirulina powder then "sticks" to the stone and is grazed by the animals)
• contains many amino acids, minerals, vitamins and a lot of carotenoids
• Many shrimp keepers make their own food sticks and we can highly recommend adding spirulina as a food additive. The dosage can be up to 50%.
