The name Cryptocoryne retrospiralis is often incorrectly used for other species that are widespread in Asia.
The "real" C. retrospiralis that we offer comes from India and is only found there (often in direct association with "Cryptocoryne spiralis").

A special feature of this species is the formation of short, slightly rounded "winter leaves" if the lighting time is too short. If you don't want these smaller leaves, a lighting time of at least 10 hours per day is recommended.
