This Hygrophila lancea Chai is an absolute rarity. It is a narrow-leaved species that grows in the aquarium in a creeping manner along the substrate and is an absolute eye-catcher with the striking coloring of the leaves in pink-pink, slightly whitish.

The plant is quite easy to propagate via lateral runners. This Hygrophila is suitable for soft as well as harder water up to about GH 18.

Due to the special coloring and the resulting lower proportion of chlorophyll, we recommend sufficient lighting and that the plant is not placed in the shade and in the foreground or front middle ground.
