A small water lily from South America (Brazil), which is still very rare and hardly known in Europe. The underwater leaves turn olive green and also brownish to reddish with a light dark red speckled pattern. Overall, it remains lower than the Asian water lily variants, especially when there is sufficient lighting, of course.
Propagation takes place through runners and luckily it is also known as Nymphaea sp. "Santarem" or "Dwarf Santarem" known water lily not very demanding (good lighting and fertilizer as well as the addition of CO2 is of course still recommended). We recommend fertilizing with high-quality soil fertilizer tabs such as VIMI Bottom Long Lasting.
A rarity that is unfortunately only available to a limited extent.
