The yama kara roots are beautiful, very special looking root pieces that are used for the natural design of your aquascapes and natural aquariums.
yama kara is the Japanese term for “coming from the mountain”, which is intended to express the special form and design possibilities with these roots.

We recommend combining several of these root pieces of different sizes with small stones or sand and broken stone.
The pieces can be easily planted with aquarium mosses, epiphytes and others, Riccardia graeffei is also very suitable as a small, flat moss.

It is local, European wood. If you do not want to use Asian wood or mangrove wood in the aquarium for ecological reasons, the yama kara root is the best choice.

These pieces of wood are straightened on one side for easy handling. The root pieces are cleaned and only release a small amount of humic substances. The yama kara root pieces can also be used very well in terrariums.
