Creeping moss grows into flat, usually very compact areas and does not branch as much as other mosses.

This Vesicularia species has broadly oval, short-pointed leaves and a rich, fresh light green. Creeping moss grows well on rough surfaces and is therefore ideal for planting on stones or roots.

It is a very attractive aquarium moss, which stands out from other beautiful aquarium moss due to its special growth and looks quite different.
It is therefore often used in natural aquariums, aquascapes and in shrimp farming. Stones covered with them can simply be removed from the tanks in aquariums or breeding facilities and moved.

Please note that the illustration shows the emersed growth of aquarium moss (growth above water). In the aquarium (submerged growth) the moss changes its appearance significantly and it then continues to grow with the well-known, described growth habit.
