We can offer you some beautiful species or variants of Bucephalandra (family Araceae). These plants are endemic to the largest Malaysian island, Borneo. There are now more than 200 different types or variants known, which have not yet been determined in more detail and are therefore described with “trade names”.

Bucephalandra Brownie Black is extremely colorful. The young leaves remain beautifully colored for a long time in shades of light brown-cognac to slightly red-brown. The older leaves turn very dark, almost dark green to black depending on how you look at them. The dark blue-purple shimmering oil cells on the leaves are clearly visible. The stem is beautiful red-brown to partly pink. A very special plant!

The plants are quite robust and are best tied to root wood or stones.

Offspring from a leading European nursery! No wild harvesting from the wild - this protects the natural resources and ensures you fresh plants of the best quality.
