We can offer you some beautiful species or variants of Bucephalandra (family Araceae). These plants are endemic to the largest Malaysian island, Borneo. There are now more than 200 different types or variants known, which have not yet been determined in more detail and are therefore described with “trade names”.

Bucephalandra 'wavy green' is a variant with dark green rounded leaves, the edge of the leaf is slightly wavy when cultivated submerged. In stronger lighting, the plants get a very dark leaf color.

Bucephalandra also like stronger currents and grow well on stones or root wood and often form a decorative, dense stand in the form of entire plant mats.

The plants are quite robust and are best tied to root wood or stones.
