There are now more than 200 different types or variants known, which have not yet been determined in more detail and are therefore described with “trade names”.

Bucephalandra Sekadau mini has a rather compact rhizome and a flat habit. It forms wider, medium green leaves and short lateral runners. The edge of the leaf is usually smooth, although older leaves are also slightly wavy.

The plants are quite robust and are best tied to root wood or stones.
